WBSO Grant by RVO for 2025

Huissen, the Netherlands - Revolution EDA, a startup in electronic design automation industry, has been accepted into the WBSO R&D tax credit program of RVO for 2025. This is another consecutive year of WBSO support, recognising Revolution EDA’s continued R&D activities. Revolution EDA is grateful for the ongoing support of RVO in the development of a shared-source electronic design automation software for professional integrated circuit designers.

Revolution EDA is a Netherlands-based company developing a free, shared-source electronic design automation (EDA) suite for professional integrated circuit designers. The software covers the complete custom IC design flow, from schematic capture and symbol editing through hierarchical layout and GDS export. Revolution EDA runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS, requires no licensing fees, and is built on an open, extensible architecture that supports third-party PDKs, plugins, and design libraries.
