WBSO Grant by RVO for 2026
27/04/2026 — Revolution EDA receives WBSO R&D tax credit from Dutch RVO for 2026
Huissen, the Netherlands - Revolution EDA, a startup in the electronic design automation industry, has been accepted into the WBSO R&D tax credit program of the Dutch RVO for 2026. This marks another consecutive year of WBSO support, recognising Revolution EDA’s continued research and development activities. Revolution EDA is grateful for the continued support of RVO as it develops a shared-source electronic design automation platform for professional integrated circuit designers.
The WBSO program, administered by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), supports innovative companies carrying out technical R&D in the Netherlands. For Revolution EDA, this support helps accelerate development of advanced capabilities across the custom IC design flow, including schematic capture, layout, verification, and extensibility for process design kits and plugins.
This recognition further validates Revolution EDA’s mission to make professional-grade IC design tools more accessible without the licensing barriers that traditionally limit innovation in the semiconductor tooling ecosystem.
